Seek Oncology advice: When you say hole in the femur, that can be due to cancer. So make sure an oncologist is involved in solving this problem.Kidney cancer can often go to the bones. The best way to further investigate is to obtain a bone scan or a PET scan. These will give you further clues as to the cause/nature of the hole in the Femur
