Find out why they do: not trust you. Have you lied before? Would pretending to be hurt help you in some way that they know of? What your parents believe is only important if it gets in the way of you getting better. You should tell them the truth and what you feel you need to get better. If they disagree then you should ask for a doctor's opinion. Your parents know how the story of the boy that cried wolf ends.
