Wisdom teeth: I suspect that your inability to hear in your right ear has nothing to do with your erupting wisdom teeth. See your PCP or ENT specialist to evaluate your hearing loss and your General Dentist or an Oral Surgeon to evaluate any dental problems associated with your erupting wisdom tooth.

See an oral surgeon: In many cases wisdom teeth should be extracted due to complications associated with the presence of tooth decay. It is a common procedure, generally performed under local anesthesia, intravenous (IV) sedation, or general anesthesia by a specially trained dentist or oral surgeon. Often extracting a wisdom tooth is the best solution. See an oral surgeon for x-ray and evaluation.
