I have been taking 20mg of lexapo for 3 months but i think my anxiety increases when i take it. i also take 1 mg clonazepam at night to help me sleep.

Try something else.: Lexapro (escitalopram) is an antidepressant that will help with your anxiety level as well but if you have taken it for at least 6 weeks and you feel that it increases your anxiety, talk to your doctor to see if you could try another antidepressant. The Klonopin is an anti-anxiety medication that can also help you sleep but it can be habit-forming so it can not be use on a long term period.
