See a doctor: Swallowing blood after dental work should not result in fresh blood in the stool immediately after the procedure. Gastrointestinal bleeding can have many potential causes, including hemorrhoids, ulcers, gastritis, diverticulosis, and cancer. The bleeding as well as the cause can be serious, so see a doctor right away.

Not likely: No more likely related to hemorrhoid. The blood u swallow from dental office would be digested and come out black usually and the amount was likely so small u wouldn't notice any change in your stool

No: Any blood from the mouth will not be bright red when it gets to the rectum. The blood on the toilet paper may come from hemorrhoids, a tear in the anal tissue or even a tumor in the lower part of your colon or even too strenuous wiping and causing irritation. Bleeding without pain in the rectal area should be examined to rule out a serious problem.

Unrelated: Blood will not look red by the time it passes through the gut. It is probably more of a lower bowel or rectal issue. blood in the toilet need to have a physician check it out
