Cold sensitivity: Cold sensitivity is not uncommon, depending on the type of filling and how much decay needed to be removed. Most cold sensitivity will disappear within 2-3 weeks. If you are still having sensitivity after this time, or if the sensitivity lingers for for more than a few seconds, call your dentist.
