Any dose : Medicines are not addictive personalities Are. Although it is very low dose if u have addictive personality it can affect u. U are likely to become dependent on the medicine if u take it for a while which is different than been addictive. If u have tried other meds in past without success It may be reasonable to try this medicine

See below.: Less important than the dose is the half life. Valium does have a longer one to give a sustained effect and minimize intoxication/withdrawal However, even without drug cravings or aberrent use- one would still expect some tolerance and excessive rebound of symptoms upon discontinuation. I would anticipate this after > 2-3 months of use.
