Depends: In general, it s not a high dose. But for certain people (with respiratory problems, which you mentioned) it might be dangerous if used without consulting your dr. Plus, this class of meds have addictive potential, and valium accumulates in the body if taken daily. On top, benzodiazepines may worsen depression, memory and balance problems, and disrupt your sleep patterns. Consult your dr.
