HIDA scan?: This test can help determine whether you have another related condition, e. g. acalculus cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia, etc. I don't imagine fancy medical terms are helpful to you, but you should consider returning to your doctor to discuss this or other testing. Good luck.

GB: You may be having episodes of biliary spasm (colic). It can be from emotional stress, too much fatty foods or alcohol (controversial), high sugar foods etc. Try a vegetarian diet, high fiber low carb (avoid potatoes/rice/white bread) for a month. No smoking. Lots of clean, pure water. I bet you notice a big difference. Either that or allow a surgeon to carve it out.
