No: Cutting the dyed hair shouldn't matter at this stage. Hair loss and dermatitis especially with swollen nodes is a bit worrisome. A physician or dermatologist might be able to help you to resolve this more quickly.

Exposure...: I don't know if someone has seen you for this and if you have been treated but I would say that if you still have the dye that caused the reaction and still causing problems then it could be a good idea to get rid of it. In any case, I would rather tell you to be seen and have someone give you formal diagnosis and treatment before you do anything. This might be related to some other problems.
