Possible adhesions: People who have had abdominal surgery can develop scar tissue inside. These usually look like spider webs and can be attached to the bowel and inside abdominal wall or other intra-abdominal tissue. These can cause mild to significant pain. However, there are other potential causes. It would be most appropriate to have this problem evaluated by a physician.
