Possibilities: There are several reasons for menstrual abnormalities.. Pregnancy certainly is the leading cause of no menses or very minimal flow. A urine pregnancy test is reasonable, but a negative not conclusive. The blood test for pregnancy is completely reliable. If not pregnant and no other symptoms like abdominal pain, pain with intercourse, unusual vaginal discharge should be safe to wait till next month
