NSAID, ice/heat: I would suggest taking a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug like ibuprofen or naproxen, especially before bed and during the day if necessary. You may also try ice and heat to help with the pain. This is a common occurrence after starting pilates or after trying a new or more advanced pilates routine. Your body will get stronger and hurt less the more you do it.
