If: The pain is in the calf, must have ultrasound to r/o blood clot. If pain in groin, could be osteoarthritis, on the side of the hip, could be trochanteric bursitis. Down buttocks into leg; sciatica, if in the knee; osteoarthritis. Once they evaluate you, they then can choose was best for you regarding pain. Good luck!
