PCOS: Confimation of PCOS is made on ultrasound. the number of follicles seen can be many or just a few depending on whether you have been pregnant or not. If your cycles are regular on metformin, I would not worry about the number of follicles in your ovary unless you are trying to get pregnant. Discus this with your gynecologist if you have questions.
