My gp prescribed me ranmoxy 500 capsules for a cold and bladder infection, is this safe to use at 4 weeks of pregnancy?

Should be quite safe: Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the foetus but there are no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant women. Amoxicillin, unless you are allergic to penicillin derivatives, should be OK during pregnancy.
