Be diligent: Be persistent and be honest with your Dr. Ask why they are not referring you or at least getting a brain scan to assure there is no underlying "pathology" to be seen. You could have a chronic post-concussive syndrome or some underlying issues in your brain with the history you relate to. Best wishes.

Neurologist: I recommend that you have an evaluation by a neurologist who is best qualified to advise you and order any appropriate tests. This would reassure you,even if your physician thinks there is nothing seriously wrong.
