Second opinion: Your symptoms certainly are of concern. Whether due to physical or non-physical causes, you need to be your own advocate and seek further evaluation or a re-evaluation, by the same doctor, or another one. It's unlikely that at your age it's anything serious, but....You won't know if you don't look.

Poss.referred pain: See a neurologist. Sometimes the problem is far away from the area where the symptoms are. It could be a pain from nerve irritation in the thoracic spine.
