Costochondritis: Costochondritis can take a long time to go away as breathing can cause irritation as the chest moves in/out. We generally don't recommend not breating so anti-inflammatory drugs are out usual treatment. Your other symptoms are a bit unusual. Discuss your course with your Doctor.

Need testing: Sounds like you may have hyperthyroidism or some other medical condition. You should see your internal medicine doctor for blood tests which would show if your symptoms are from a correctable medical condition. Costochondritis can cause chest wall pain and tenderness but not fast heart rate and weakness. There is something else going on.
