Bleeding/Obstruction: Tumor in the ureter can cause obstruction of urine flow what will lead to pain. Bleeding in the urine is a common finding.Pain can be located anywhere in the abdomen or even in the back. A CT scan of the abdomen can easily detect the abnormality in the kidney or even in the ureter if the tumor growth is more advanced.
