acid reflux symptoms have improved but burning tongue still here. i am taking 40mg protonix (pantoprazole) in am and 150mg ranitidine pm.

B12 deficiency?: Chronic use of PPI (protonix, omeprazle) reduces vitamin B12 and magnesium absorption. You should have blood test to check out whether you are deficient in either. B12 deficiency can cause a burning tongue.
