YeS: Those are severe symptoms. If you haven't tried OTC meds: ranitidine or omeprazole, U should. Don't eat or drink anything within 3-4 hour so bedtime (keep your stomach MT when you lie down to turn off acid). Elevate the head of your bed on bricks or blocks so gravity will keep acid out of your esophagus. Avoid alcohol, nicotine, aspirin, and NSAIDs. If not better, see gastroenterologist.
