Possibility: Numerous assumptions here, but if the HIV+ blood was deposited on the door handle shortly before you touched it, AND the blood from the door handle made contact with the cut on your hand AND there was mixing of the HIV+ blood with your blood, then it's possible. Remember that conversion to HIV may take 6 months, so if you decide to get tested, be sure to test again 6 months after this incident.

Possible: Contact of an open wound with HIV infected blood an result in HIV transmission. One of the variables would be how long the infected blood was on the exposed environmental surface.
