what prevents meningocele?

Dr. Larry Armstrong

Not really anything: We believe there's a strong correlation with low levels of Folic Acid and neural tube defects. The neural tube closes at day 28 of gestation and therefore we like women to start Folic Acid in their prenatal vitamins at least 6 months before conception.
