I have a subconjunctival hemorrhage.started hurting to touch my eye so i looked and saw that there are bright red veins only on my left eyelid.why?

Eye pain: was there an injury to the eye that caused the subconjunctival hemorrhage? If so could have had trauma to the eyelid as well. Infection could also be a cause. Best to have this evaluated. Hope this helps Good luck

See a doc: It is possible you have a different eye condition than a subconjunctival hemmorrage. Generally, this condition is painless. Eye pain is a reason to see your doctor for consideration of referral to an ophthalmologist.
