I have a subconjunctival hemorrhage.started hurting to touch my eye so i looked and saw that there are bright red veins only on my left eyelid.why?

was there an injury to the eye that caused the subconjunctival hemorrhage? If so could have had trauma to the eyelid as well. Infection could also be a cause. Best to have this evaluated. Hope this helps Good luck

It is possible you have a different eye condition than a subconjunctival hemmorrage. Generally, this condition is painless. Eye pain is a reason to see your doctor for consideration of referral to an ophthalmologist.
