How are people treated in mental health facilities if they are stubborn and have dementia?

Dementia - stubborn: Hopefully, such individuals are still treated with dignity and respect. Once people can no longer positively contribute to their own well being, medications and the creation of a supportive environment become important.

I don't know of: Any statistics on this. In general, "stubbornness" is not a reason for admission to a mental health facility. I suggest that you talk with the doctor about what he hopes to gain from admission.
