Sometimes : Hoones are stronger and periods just linger a bit. That is probably what is happening. Slight imbalances and changes in hormones occur throughout your life and are not of consequence just a nuisance .

Can happen: Bleeding like this can just happen sometimes. The lining is growing during this time of your cycle, and if the hormones are off a little, you may shed some. Since you had a tubal, pregnancy is highly unlikely. You could do a pregnancy test just to make sure, but if you just wait, you'll find your cycles should go back to normal.

Don't worry : One episode of unusual vaginal bleeding is not out of the ordinary, though not typical for you. It takes at least three cycles of extra bleeding before it's declared abnormal, also called dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB), so take comfort that one episode is not enough to worry. Are you taking any hormone therapy, like oral contraceptive pills?
