Varies: Seasonale is protecting you but some breakthrough bleeding or spotting is a common complaint. It is most common with the first package and may stop but it also may last for the entire 3 month pack. Some women find that their body never tolerates/adjusts to periods only every 3 months but most find it is better with the 2nd pack. Hope this helps.
