I have severe back pain. all the doctors i see say a different thing. i was told slipped disc, but a last xray said.no. will a mri be accurate?

Back pain : MRI is much mor accurate in making the diagnosis in Back pain . However your insurance CO will most likely not pay for it , unless you have localized signs and symptoms or some neurological deficit . See a back specialist , have some physical therapy , if all fails in a couple of months , maybe an MRI will be in order then . Take care .
