Urology Consult.: When UTIs are back to back like you are describing, there might be something wrong with the flow of urine. There are special imaging tests that check for abnormalities in the ureter/ kidney/ bladder to identify what's going on. If your primary care doctor feels this is not improving a urology consult could be beneficial.

UTI: Uncomplicated UTI's usually clear up easily with today's antibiotics. If you experience recurrent or refractory infections, then a urologist should find out why and where in the urinary tract the infection starts. Medications like Cipro (ciprofloxacin) usually clear uncomplicated uti in a few days.

See your doctor.: Sounds like an unusual situation. I suppose that you have had a urine culture and that your antibiotics were chosen with the culture results in mind. If they were not you should see your doctor and get this cleared up. If they were, you are not clearing your infection and may have an anatomic problem or perhaps a kidney stone. In that case, see your doctor.
