Patellofemoral synd.: Bilateral knee pain with standing up and traversing stairs in 30's female raises concern for inherited genu varus or genu valgus; with associated irregular patellar excursions and knee compartment pressures reflective of patellofemoral syndrome. An Osteopath would be a good place to start, and shoe inserts to arouse gentle foot pronation or supination might be therapeutic.
