Patellofemoral synd: Sounds like patellofemoral syndrome. Common in women your age. Treatments include weight loss if you are overweight, acetaminophen, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen).

Patellofemoral synd.: Bilateral knee pain with standing up and traversing stairs in 30's female raises concern for inherited genu varus or genu valgus; with associated irregular patellar excursions and knee compartment pressures reflective of patellofemoral syndrome. An Osteopath would be a good place to start, and shoe inserts to arouse gentle foot pronation or supination might be therapeutic.

Possible: patellar femoral syndrome, Ice the knees, do quadricep strengthening exercises, and can try advil (ibuprofen) or alieve unless there is a contraindication to you taking these, and see your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.
