What can i do to fight hayfever symptoms? i'm currently on 120mg cetirizine hydrochloride but they are only relieving symptoms for 1-2 hours

Depends: What exactly are your symptoms? Hay fever may refer to many things such as sore throat, itchy eyes and runny nose. Sometimes a rash can be present. If you have a problem that is not hay fever, Cetirizine may not be the best medicine. Alternatively, a different antihistamine such as loratidine my help

If present during the fall and spring hayfever seasons, you may benefit from topical nasal steroid therapy. Sound scary? It has been found to be the most effective treatment with few side effects.
