Clenching: You answered you own question. Your clenching is most likely the cause of your sore teeth. This can only be determined by a one on one clinical exam and x-rays. If someone kept tapping you on your shoulder, your shoulder would become sore. Stress and possible sleep disorder may be contributing factors.
