Every morning i wake up and my vastas lateralis is numb, i don't know what's causing this? i am 16 years old! please help.

Vastus lateralis: This muscle, on the side of your leg, is particularly difficult to stretch. You may be sleeping in a position that puts extra strain on it. The most helpful thing is to massage the muscle- especially the point in the lower half where you will feel the most tightness. This is a good article about it- http://saveyourself.ca/articles/spot-08-quadriceps.php. If not better, see your doctor.
