Yes: You should probably have it looked at but yes, allergies can cause bleeding that comes from the very front of the septum which is rich in superficial blood vessels. My guess is that you probably rub or wipe your nose during sleep. Of course treating the allergies resolves this but nasal sprays can sometimes cause bleeding if improperly aimed at the septum. Try adding nasal saline or nasal gel.
