Protect good eye: Retina detachment is a serious eye condition. The causes can be trauma, inherited conditions, and age related to name a few. Your goal should be to protect the good eye by: 1) protect good eye with break resistant eyeglasses 2) avoid elective surgery of good eye 3) find cause of detachment and take steps to prevent it in good eye. The color change in bad eye is likely related to degeneration.
