Generally no,: But there are many antidepressants out there. It would be helpful if you were asking about a specific one and we could answer better. There are some that can cause minor EKG changes, there is one that can cause a significant increase in blood pressure but it isn't used much anymore. Antidepressants are often used with people who have hypertension so it is not considered an aggravating factor.
