See the doctor: Dm type 2 is well controlled with Oral medicine. Glucophage (metformin) is first line Treatment along with Low Glycemic Index, Low carb diet, and regular exercise. Try to maintain near ideal weight for the height. Fasting BS of 121 is not too bad for his age. 2 hour after meal BS should also be coming down to pre meal level.
