A member asked:

I have a vagus nerve stimulator i'm having a lot of neck pain for the last two hours not sure if i should keep waiting for it to subside or if it will?

My thots: I presume that the unit has been in place for a while, and if present longer than 2-3 weeks, the neck pain has nothing to do with VNS. However, due to infection risk and potential unit mis-functions, such as aberrant firing, would interrogate and check settings. However, would also investigate local neck pathology, especially in view of your low back history.
