I have been feeling excessively tired recently and am visiting a gp soon.what kind of test would he run on me?

Start with History: I would start with a general medical history and history of your present fatigue problem. If you have not had general physical lab studies then these would be automatically ordered along with any additional tests depending on your history. Additional tests might include sleep studies, hormone studies, depression questionnaires, or heart related studies.

Dictated by exam!: If you have a complete review of systems, a family hx, and an examination, your doctor will most likely order tests for your fatgue. Sleeping well, mildly dpressed cannot be diagnosed by blood tests, as are hormonal and other issues!
