1 week post op vitrectomy. how long should i wait to wear eye makeup and my contact lenses again?

Longer: You can wear contact lenses in the un-operated eye, but not in the operated eye until allowed by the surgeon. I would avoid eyeliner and makeup that could come in contact with the tear layer until allowed by the surgeon also. You are probably using postoperative eye drops, and these would not go well with contact lenses.
