A member asked:

Is it okay to stretch and reach high during pregnancy? i heard it can make the babies umbilical cord wrap around it's neck.

Not true: There are no contortions you can do with your body that would affect positioning of baby in uterus enough to cause problems. Go ahead and stretch and keep your mobility up!

Myth: Most cord wraps occur due to baby's spontaneous movement.Around 12 wks, there is more room/fluid compared to baby size and they can flip and spin a lot.I have seen as many as 5 neck wraps in a normal newborn.Although this can complicate delivery and lead to a c-section, there is nothing you do that will cause or prevent it.
