Not very: Most thyroid problems are easily controlled with medications, same as when you're not pregnant. Most obs are comfortable managing thyroid abnormalities, or they can refer to an endocrinologist for help. Once you deliver, more options are usually available for thyroid control. Good luck with your pregnancy. Make sure your levels are checked every trimester, even if you feel well.
