Is it risky for someone to have hip surgery when they have congestive heart failure? i know someone having hip surgery and was wondering how risky it

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery: If a patient has active symptomatic congestive failure the risk of surgery is very high. We generally don't operate unless CHF is well controlled and not symptomatic at the time of surgery.
