Seizures: The chemical effects of alcohol on the brain are such that, during alcohol withdrawal, the seizure threshold is lowered. Seizures are a known complication of alcohol withdrawal.

Alcoholic seizures: Alcohol can produce seizures if someone takes too much alcohol Before he eats food due t hypoglycemia or low sugar, alcohol depresses the central nervous system. Alcohol can precipitate epilepsy. Alcohol can occur when taken with illicit or prescription drugs . Seizure can also occur during withdrawal from Alcohol.
