A member asked:

I have torn meniscus and i had a cortisone shot but it didn't help with inflammation what's the next step?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Symptoms: should dictate how you proceed from this point if you have significant arthritis any arthroscopic procedures would be of very limited benifit. If you have mechanical symptoms then arthroscopic intervention may be helpful. your options depend on the overall condition of your knee you should discuss this with your orthopedic surgeon
