Not much: Studies shown 14 days out no change or minimal change. the reason is that when u get blood transfusion u are requiring blood to be used immediately for your organs, so the iron that is connected to the hemoglobin in the red blood cell needs to be used on demand and not really stored in ferritin form. This is with iron deficiency anemia or chronic blood loss anemia. different than chronic dis anem
