How long does it take for ferritin levels to change and to see the change via the blood test? would getting another test a month after having one done be too soon?

Are you taking iron supplements? If so, re do the test in 6 months or so to give your body time to replenish your iron stores, if your ferritin level was low. If it was low, your doctor should evaluate you for internal or external blood loss.
