Check with your Dr.: Hand foot and mouth disease is a relatively mild short lived viral illness. VERY RARELY it can be harmful to a developing fetus. If you have been ill or you have additional concerns, consult your doctor.

Should be fine: 95% of kids by age 3 have had this and as high as 99% by the time you get to kindergarten. What that boils down to is you almost 100% have had this and are immune, having antibodies that protect both you and the unborn baby. You have a better chance winning the lottery than coming down with the illness, so don't worry!
