What are some good home remedies for a headache and/ or a sore throat?

Remedies: Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a good first line treatment for dull headaches. If the headache is due to marked nasal congestion,taking a decongestant like sudafed, irrigating the nasal passages with warm salt water and,/or using a nasal spray like afrin for a short time helps. For viral sore throat,lozenges and warm salt water gargles help. A throat culture is recommended for persistent sore throat to rule out strep
